Information about Warts

Spring is here and summer is coming.  That means we will spend more time outdoors, more time at the Beach and more time walking barefoot.  This means the chances of catching a wart is increased.

Warts are caused by a virus and if you step in a puddle, in a damp area or on a surface that has a wart virus you can get a plantar wart.  Since warts are caused by a virus, warts can spread.  They can spread to other areas on the same foot, the can spread to your other foot, and you can leave wart viruses behind in the the bath, shower and other surfaces and spread them to other members of your family.

There are many ways to treat warts, and we will work with you to determine the best way to get rid of your warts so that you don't get more warts or share them with your family or friends.
