We are a family run practice serving the families of Southold. Our office does not have large glass partitions between you and us. The front desk staff is Blythe Brody. When you come in you will be greeted with a huge smile. She will do everything possible to make your visit as pleasant as possible.

We value your time. Just ask any of the patients who come to our office, we are on time over 95% of the time. That means if you have a 2:30 appointment, you will be able to see the doctor at 2:30, of course that is dependent upon you completing your conversation with Blythe by 2:30, and because we treat you like family that is always a challenge. So you will probably actually see the doctor closer to 2:35.

We know each of our patients just by looking at their face. When taking care of your feet, it is important to know your goals, your needs and to tailor the care to what is best for you. We talk to you and we listen to you. The year is 2021 and while we provide the most up to date comprehensive care, we are still a family run country doctors office that is there to serve the patients in our community.

We have had the honor and pleasure of serving the community for 30 years, we have watched our patients grow up, have children and then bring their children to our office. We have treated multiple generations of some families and feel that our patients referring their friends and family members to our office is the greatest honor and compliment.

We have also been in the same location for the past 30 years. When you come in you will notice the space is a little small, but it is home. One major reason we have not moved is the building itself. The building dates back to the 1700’s If you were able to see the beams you would see that they are true 4x4, 4x6 and 4x8. The door to the bathroom is the original plank door and the latch on the bathroom dates back to colonial times.

Despite the advanced age of the building, we keep the amenities up to date. During the pandemic the office was slow, so we took the opportunity to update the floors, front door, give the place a paint job, get new waiting room furniture, new window treatments, and other updates to keep the place sparkling. We take great pride in having a pleasant office to visit.

I am considered a national expert on Health Information Technology and have the most up to date technology available to ensure I can provide the best possible care to my patients. From state of the art Electronic Health Records, to digital devices to test blood flow to the lower extremity, to digital x ray systems and more.

By having all these resources available right at the office I can often provide the tests necessary right in the office and does not have to send you out for tests. This allows me to provide the most effective care possible.

The building may be small, but it is equipped with a ramp to make it easy to get into the building. If you call the office for any reason, you are likely to speak with Dr Brody, or if not Dr Brody with Blythe Brody.

If you call after hours one of the options is to press #6 to speak to Dr Brody directly. If you hit #6 you will be connected directly to his cell phone. You do not have to go through dozens of people to find the doctor. Health care should be personal and at our office it is.

We participate in most health plans, and by participating in your plan, we help you to control costs. We feel this is important, we need to be there for you to receive affordable quality care. Health care can be expensive and selecting a doctor in your plan will help you control your costs.

We are pleased to be at the Wellness Center at Peconic Landing on a regular basis to care for residents of that complex. If you happen to live closer to Peconic Landing than our office, you can also come to the wellness center to see us there. You will receive the same quality care at Peconic Landing that you will in our Southold office. The major difference is you will not get to see all of the Star Trek Posters that decorate our Southold office, but you will have the chance to chat with Jan at the wellness center.
