Dr Brody

For more than 25 years, Dr. Michael Brody has provided patient-centered podiatry services in and around Southold, New York, treating both acute and chronic issues affecting the feet and ankles at his practice. At his state-of-the-art office Colonial Corners, Dr. Brody offers preventive and proactive solutions for patients of all ages, including treatments for ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis, and plantar warts, as well as custom orthotics and comprehensive diabetic foot care options. Dr. Brody is dedicated to providing individualized care based on each patient’s unique needs, relieving painful or persistent symptoms so they can enjoy better health and greater mobility. Dr Brody treats patients in the Southold office, the Peconic Landing Wellness Center and provides home services to patients who are unable to travel to his office.

Dr. Brody enjoys outdoor activities and plays soccer a few times a week and is very familiar with sports medicine and sports related injuries. He understands the unique needs of the athlete and the desire to get back to physical activity as soon as possible.

Dr. Brody grew up on Long Island, his undergraduate education was at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York of Podiatric Medicine in Manhatten, followed by a residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Montrose, NY. Board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Brody is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine, and he’s an active member of professional organizations, including the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine, and the New York Podiatric Medical Association.

In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, Dr. Brody has been a clinical instructor for Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Northport, New York. When not caring for patients, Dr Brody is active with International Standards Development Organizations, working to develop standards for Electronic Health Records.
